Answer: A bodhisattva of the first stage abides in one hundred Buddha-lands, becomes a king of the four continents of Jambūdvīpa, cultivates one hundred dharma-paryāyas, and transforms all sentient beings with a mind of equality toward the two truths. A bodhisattva of the second stage abides in one thousand Buddha-lands, becomes the king of the Trāyastriṃśa heaven, and cultivates one thousand dharma-paryāyas. A bodhisattva of the third stage abides in one hundred thousand Buddha-lands, becomes the king of the Yāma heaven, and cultivates one hundred thousand dharma-paryāyas. A bodhisattva of the fourth stage abides in ten billion Buddha-lands, becomes the king of the Tuṣita heaven, and cultivates ten billion dharma-paryāyas. A bodhisattva of the fifth stage abides in one hundred billion Buddha-lands, becomes the king of the Nirmāṇarati heaven, and cultivates one hundred billion dharma-paryāyas. A bodhisattva of the sixth stage abides in ten trillion Buddha-lands, becomes the king of the Paranirmitavaśavartin heaven, and cultivates ten trillion dharma-paryāyas. A bodhisattva of the seventh stage abides in one hundred trillion Buddha-lands, becomes a king of the first dhyāna, and cultivates one hundred trillion dharma-paryāyas. A bodhisattva of the eighth stage abides in Buddha-lands as numerous as the subtle dust motes of a million [worlds], becomes a Brahmā king of the second dhyāna, and cultivates dharma-paryāyas as numerous as the subtle dust motes of a million [worlds]. A bodhisattva of the ninth stage abides in Buddha-lands as numerous as the subtle dust motes of a million trillion asaṃkhyeyas [of worlds], becomes a Great Brahmā king of the third dhyāna, and cultivates dharma-paryāyas as numerous as the subtle dust motes of a million trillion asaṃkhyeyas [of worlds]. A bodhisattva of the tenth stage abides in inexpressibly inexpressible Buddha-lands, becomes the king of the Great Serenity heaven of the fourth dhyāna, the lord of the triple realm, cultivates inexpressibly inexpressible dharma-paryāyas, attains the samādhi of exhausting principle, exhausts the source of the triple realm, and transforms all sentient beings. One should know that this meaning is explained in detail in the Humane King Prajñā Sūtra.
