二釋品來意者，前明十住昇進以昇須彌之頂，此明十行之昇進以至夜摩，以次此品須來。

Second, as for explaining the reason for the chapter's occurrence: Previously, the advance of the ten abodes was shown by ascending to the peak of Sumeru; here, the advance of the ten practices is shown by reaching Yama, so this chapter necessarily follows in sequence.
