新華嚴經論 2.30

2.30

一如大海眾流所歸，諸流入已隨則廣大，皆同海德。此經亦爾，若有眾生能生信入者，則同如來性海智海果德。

First, like the great ocean where all streams converge, and when all streams have entered, they immediately become vast, all sharing the ocean's virtues, this sūtra is also like this: if there are sentient beings who can give rise to faith and enter it, they become identical with the fruit virtues of the Tathāgata's ocean of nature and ocean of wisdom.
