2.36

七此經猶如大海不宿死屍。此經亦爾，若有見聞信樂而能悟入，永離凡夫、權學、闡提死屍，直同如來法身智海。

Seventh, this sūtra is like the great ocean which does not harbour dead corpses. This sūtra is also like this: if there are those who, upon seeing and hearing it, believe and delight in it and are able to comprehend and enter it, they forever leave behind the dead corpses of ordinary persons, provisional practitioners, and icchantikas, directly identifying with the ocean of the Tathāgata's dharmakāya wisdom.
