第八會普光明殿說〈十定〉及〈如來出現品〉，明佛出現進修道極，不離本處，明不離一箇普光明智以為進修。云昇天上者，表法昇進，元來不離一箇普光明大智本定之宅。明雖修昇進，行滿元不移本不動智中普光大用。

The eighth assembly takes place in the Universal Light Hall to expound the 'Ten Concentrations' and the 'Chapter on the Manifestation of the Tathāgata,' clarifying that the culmination of the Buddha's manifestation and progressive cultivation of the path does not depart from the fundamental place; it clarifies that one does not depart from the single wisdom of universal light in order to advance in cultivation. The mention of 'ascending to the heavens' represents spiritual advancement in the Dharma; fundamentally, one never departs from the dwelling of original concentration of the single great wisdom of universal light. This clarifies that although one cultivates and advances, when practice is perfected, one fundamentally does not move from the universal light's great function within the originally immovable wisdom.
