已上知解性欲樂差別。八萬四千者，迷成八萬四千煩惱，悟成八萬四千解脫智慧。
The above concerns knowing the differences in understandings, natures, desires, and inclinations. As for the eighty-four thousand: in delusion they become eighty-four thousand defilements; in awakening they become eighty-four thousand wisdoms of liberation.
