五「善男子」已下至「德雲比丘當為汝說」有四行半經，約有五法：一示善知識所居方面、二示善知識所居國土、三示善知識所居處所、四舉善知識約德立名、五舉善知識道德堪能演說何法，如文具說。

Fifth, from 'Good son' downward to 'the monk Meghaśrī will explain for you', there are four and a half lines of scripture, which summarize five matters: first, indicating the direction in which the kalyāṇamitra dwells; second, indicating the country in which the kalyāṇamitra dwells; third, indicating the specific place in which the kalyāṇamitra dwells; fourth, citing the kalyāṇamitra and establishing his name based on virtue; fifth, citing the kalyāṇamitra's virtue and spiritual power to expound what teaching—all as fully explained in the text.
