三明分其序分者，分為二門：一都該一部、二當品自有。一都該一部者，即〈世主妙嚴品〉是。二當品自有序分，如經品品之中會會之內皆有「爾時如是」，如是序其品內之意。又此一部經，上下五度序其世尊所居菩提場之處所。

Third, explaining the division of its introductory section: It is divided into two approaches: first, that which encompasses the entire work; second, that which is intrinsic to each chapter. First, that which encompasses the entire work is the 'Chapter on the Wondrous Adornments of the Rulers of the World'. Second, each chapter has its own introductory section: as within each chapter and each assembly of the sūtra there is always 'at that time, such...', introducing the intention within that chapter in this manner. Furthermore, throughout this entire sūtra, the location of the bodhimaṇḍa where the World-Honoured One resides is introduced five times.
