Sixth, 'identity of the established principles': because the practice-entrances of the bodhisattvas of the ten faiths, ten abodes, five stages, and six stages are identically established throughout the worlds of the ten directions; because the buddhas of past and present in the worlds of the ten directions share this Dharma; they suddenly reveal cause and effect within a single kṣaṇa. That Dharma has no coming, and no before or after. It is not like the provisional teaching where the cause precedes and the fruit succeeds, where one first begins to see the nature only when the stages of the ten grounds are completed, and bodhisattvas before the grounds are ordinary persons. Even if someone before the grounds becomes a buddha, it is attributed to the power of their vows and not to the fundamental Dharma. Or it is attributed to a bodhisattva above the grounds leading ordinary persons to arouse superior practices, not discussing that the fundamental Dharma is fundamentally the Buddha. The principle established in this Avataṃsaka Sūtra directly discusses the entrance of the Buddha's own vehicle of fundamental wisdom, without discussing the opening of the Three Vehicle entrances or the establishing of many kalpas in the provisional teachings. It directly clarifies that sentient beings fundamentally have no creator in their own essence, and that their nature is fundamentally the true Buddha-wisdom of the dharmadhātu, taking this as that which is ridden.
