Third, the 'Chapter on the Ten Samādhis': the Tathāgata enters the samādhi of the limit of a kṣaṇa; by means of this samādhi, he universally encompasses this sūtra, and the immeasurable kalpas of the three times are entirely a single time, fundamentally being thus. Because the Buddha accords with the Way, he naturally manifests his fundamental Dharma to attain Buddhahood and expound the sūtra, and the time of entering extinction has no movement; this clarifies that the quiescence and function of the fundamental nature and essence of the Buddha's great wisdom, as the essence of samādhi, is pervasive. Even up to entering nirvāṇa, dwelling in the world for forty years to expound the Dharma, he has not yet emerged while in the mother's womb, and has not yet descended while in Tuṣita heaven; because the essence of the limit of true reality is thus, having no nature of coming or going, past or present.
