菩薩問明品十（卷同。欲破無明，先啟其萌。能問所問俱是大人，故云菩薩眾位之初，故首為稱）

Chapter Ten: Bodhisattvas Clarify through Inquiries (Same fascicle. Wishing to destroy ignorance, one first stimulates its sprout. Both the questioner and the questioned are great persons; hence they are called bodhisattvas, and being at the beginning of the stages, 'Chief' is used as their designation).
