(Fascicle 55) There are ten kinds of generating the measureless, boundless, vast mind: contemplating the realms of all sentient beings in the presence of all Buddhas; contemplating all lands, all worlds, and all dharmadhātus; contemplating all dharmas as like empty space; the vast practices of all bodhisattvas; mindfully recalling all Buddhas of the three periods of time; contemplating the inconceivable retributions of karmic actions; adorning and purifying all Buddha-kṣetras; ubiquitously entering the great assemblies of all Buddhas; and contemplating the wondrous voices of all Tathāgatas (each phrase states generating the vast mind).
