經曰「洗濯垢污」者，述云：此第三、結破邪也。垢污者，即該見愛之通言。從教以除，故云洗濯。濯，亦浴也。

The sūtra says: "Washing away defilement and dirt." The commentary states: This third part concludes the crushing of the heterodox. 'Defilement and dirt' is a general term encompassing views and craving. Removing them following the teaching, it is called 'washing away'. 'Washing' (濯) also means bathing.
