經曰「設我得佛」至「不取正覺」者，述云：此次、攝中品也。既云發菩提心故，即知不發心，聖雖不迎，無違本願之失。

Regarding the passage from the sūtra stating, "If, when I attain Buddhahood..." to "may I not attain the correct awakening": the commentary states: This next [vow] gathers the middle grade. Since it says "generating the bodhicitta," one knows that if one does not generate the mind, even though the Sage does not welcome them, there is no fault of contradicting the original vow.
