2.39

經曰「今日世英住最勝道」者，此第四念也。最勝道者，即大菩提四智心品。佛住四智，獨秀無匹，故從最勝道立世英之名也。

The sūtra says: “Today the Hero of the World abides in the supreme path.” The commentary states: This is the fourth recollection. The supreme path is none other than great bodhi, the state of the four wisdom minds. The Buddha abides in the four wisdoms, standing alone and without peer; thus from the supreme path the name “Hero of the World” is established.
