經曰「降化其意」至「涅槃之道」者，述云：此後、令持令得也。五善即防五惡之戒，由持五戒現無眾苦，故獲福德，反五痛也。後生西方，終為涅槃，故度世長壽，即反五燒也。

On the sūtra's words from "Subduing and transforming their intentions" to "the way of nirvāṇa": the commentary states: This subsequent part causes them to uphold and attain. The five goods are the precepts guarding against the five evils; due to upholding the five precepts, there are presently no various sufferings, hence one obtains blessed virtue, which reverses the five pains. Afterwards, being born in the West, one ultimately attains nirvāṇa; hence one crosses the world and has long life, which reverses the five burnings.
