經曰「一切諸菩薩」至「供養無量覺」者，述云：此第二、供敬修福。有三：此初、外事供養也。

On the sūtra's words from "All the bodhisattvas" to "make offerings to the Buddha of Immeasurable [Life]," the Commentary states: This second [section] concerns making offerings and paying reverence to cultivate merit. It has three parts: this initial one concerns external material offerings.
