經曰「阿難彼國」至「大千世界」者，述云：此第二、光明殊妙。有二：此初、標光參差也。《玉篇》云「一尋八尺也」。又云七尺，此似非也，應同刃故。

On the sūtra's words from "Ānanda, that land's" to "the great trichiliocosm," the Commentary states: This second part concerns extraordinary light. It has two parts: this first marks the gradations of light. The Yupian says: "One xun is eight chi." It also says seven chi; this seems incorrect, as it should be equivalent to a ren.
