1.59

問曰：「若言凡夫小聖得生者，何故天親《淨土論》云：『女人及根缺、二乘種不生』？今彼國中現有二乘，如斯論教若為消釋？」

Question: If you say that ordinary persons and lesser sages attain rebirth, why does Vasubandhu's Treatise on the Pure Land say: 'Women, those with defective faculties, and the seeds of the two vehicles are not born [there]'? Now, in that land, there are currently the two vehicles; how is such treatise teaching to be resolved and explained?
