2.51

言沙門目連已下，正明二聖騰空來去，不由門路，日日往還，為王說法。大王當知。夫人進食，先不奉王教，所以不敢遮約。二聖乘空，此亦不猶門制也。

From 'the śramaṇa Maudgalyāyana' downward, it directly clarifies the two sages soaring through the air coming and going, not using the gate road, coming and going day after day to expound the Dharma for the king. 'The great king should know: when the queen consort brought in food, previously she did not receive the king's order, so we did not dare to forbid her. The two sages rode through the air; this also was not subject to gate control.'
