七、從手掌作五百億下，至接引眾生已來，正明手有慈悲之用也。即有其六。一明手掌作雜蓮之色。二明一一指端有八萬印文。三明一一文有八萬餘色。四明一一色有八萬餘光。五明光體柔軟等照一切。六明以此寶光之手接引有緣也。

Seventh, from "The palms of the hands have fifty billion" down to "guiding sentient beings," it properly explains the compassionate function of the hands. There are six points: first, it explains that the palms of the hands have the color of mixed lotuses; second, it explains that the tip of each finger has eighty thousand seal patterns; third, it explains that each pattern has more than eighty thousand colors; fourth, it explains that each color has more than eighty thousand rays of light; fifth, it explains that the substance of the light is soft, illuminating all equally; sixth, it explains that with these hands of jeweled light, [the bodhisattva] guides those with karmic connection.
