九、從此菩薩坐時下，至度苦眾生已來，正明坐不同觀音相。即有其七。一明坐相。二明先動本國相。三明次動他方遠近相。四明動搖下上佛剎多少相。五明彌陀觀音等分身雲集相。六明臨空側塞皆坐寶華。七明分身說法各應所宜。

Ninth, from “when this bodhisattva sits” down to “saving suffering sentient beings,” it directly explains the characteristics of [his] sitting as differing from those of Avalokiteśvara. Herein there are seven [points]: first, explaining the characteristics of his sitting; second, explaining the characteristic of first shaking his own land; third, explaining the characteristic of next shaking other directions near and far; fourth, explaining the characteristic of the greater or lesser number of Buddha-kṣetras shaken below and above; fifth, explaining the characteristic of the manifested bodies of Amitābha, Avalokiteśvara, and others gathering like clouds; sixth, explaining [them] filling the empty sky, all seated on jeweled lotuses; seventh, explaining that the manifested bodies preach the Dharma, each responding appropriately to what is suitable.
