四、從戒香熏修下，至七寶池中已來，正明第九門中行者終時聖來迎接去時遲疾。即有其八。一明命延不久。二明彌陀與諸比丘眾來。三明佛放金光照行者身。四明比丘持華來現。五明行者自見聞空聲等讚。六明佛讚言：「汝深信佛語，隨順無疑，故來迎汝。」七明既蒙佛讚即見自坐華座，坐已華合。八明華既合已即入西方寶池之內。

Fourth, from "perfumed by the fragrance of the precepts" down to "the pond of seven jewels," it directly clarifies, under the ninth gateway, the holy beings coming to welcome the practitioner at the end of life and the speed of their departure. This consists of eight points: First, it clarifies that life does not last long. Second, it clarifies that Amitābha comes with an assembly of monks. Third, it clarifies that the Buddha emits golden light illuminating the practitioner's body. Fourth, it clarifies that the monks bring forth flowers and appear. Fifth, it clarifies that the practitioner themselves hears praises from the sky and the like. Sixth, it clarifies that the Buddha praises them, saying, "Because you have deep faith in the Buddha's words and follow them without doubt, I come to welcome you." Seventh, it clarifies that upon receiving the Buddha's praise, they see themselves sitting on the lotus seat, and once seated, the flower closes. Eighth, it clarifies that once the flower has closed, they enter the jeweled pond of the west.
