一、從佛告阿難已下，則雙標二意。一明告命。二明辨定其位。此即修學大乘上善凡夫人也。

First, from "The Buddha told Ānanda" downward, two meanings are jointly indicated: first, it clarifies the address and command; second, it clarifies and determines the rank. This refers to an ordinary person of upper good who cultivates and studies the Great Vehicle.
