From here onwards, the main body is next discriminated, containing sixteen [contemplations]. We shall examine the text directly within each contemplation, without needing to reveal them beforehand. The present establishment of the main body differs from that of various other masters. Here we directly determine it according to the Dharma: from the first line of the sun contemplation down to the lowest birth of the lowest grade is the main body. Prior to the sun contemplation, although there are many different meanings, looking at the flow of this text, it is merely the prologue. This should be known.
