4.18

Question: Ordinary people are shallow in wisdom and deep in the obstacles of delusion. If they encounter persons of different understanding and practice who cite many sūtras and treatises to raise objections and difficulties, presenting proof that ordinary people with sinful obstacles cannot attain rebirth, how should one counteract those difficulties, accomplish faith, and advance directly with resolution without giving rise to fear and regression?
