2.46

「『我今樂生極樂世界阿彌陀佛所。』」良以此界下凡心多馳散，若不的指一方、專觀一佛，則觀行難成、往生多障。況彌陀光明常照、誓願弘深，是以生一土則諸土皆通、想一佛則諸佛齊見。《十疑論》佛答普廣，其理照然。善導專修，義亦同此。三、求請往生所修觀法。

"'I now wish to be born in the land of Sukhāvatī, in the presence of Amitāyus Buddha.'" Truly, this is because the minds of the inferior ordinary beings of this realm are mostly scattered and wandering; if one does not clearly point to one direction and exclusively contemplate one Buddha, then the practice of contemplation will be difficult to accomplish and rebirth will encounter many hindrances. Furthermore, Amitāyus's radiance constantly shines, and his vows are vast and deep; therefore, if one is born in one land, then all lands are reached; if one visualises one Buddha, then all Buddhas are simultaneously seen. In the Shiyi lun, when the Buddha answers Samantaprabhāsa, the principle is manifestly clear. Shandao's exclusive cultivation also carries this same meaning. Third, requesting the method of contemplation to be cultivated for rebirth.
