「『若念佛者，當知此人是人中分陀利華。』」分陀利，此云白蓮花，一人間奇瑞、二性潔無染，故以比焉。四、伴侶勝。

"‘If there is one who is mindful of the Buddha, you should know that this person is a puṇḍarīka flower among human beings.’" Puṇḍarīka is translated here as "white lotus flower." First, it is a rare auspicious omen in the human world; second, its nature is pure and unstained. Therefore, it is used as a comparison. Fourth, the excellence of companions.
