「『是為觀觀世音菩薩真實色身相，名第十觀。』」真實色身，即應身也。三、觀修，四：初、指前勸觀；二、彰功力；三、舉聞以況；四、教次觀。初、指前勸觀。

"[The Buddha said:] 'This is the contemplation of the true physical form and marks of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, named the Tenth Contemplation.'" The true physical form is his responsive body. Third, exhortation to contemplation, which has four parts: first, referring to the preceding and exhorting contemplation; second, demonstrating its efficacy; third, citing hearing [his name] by way of comparison; fourth, teaching the sequence of contemplation.
