答：「有言是須陀洹，有言是大菩薩，有言是凡夫，所言不定。」等者，謂兼及下，其數非一，故言無量諸天大眾俱。

Answer: 'Some say he is a srotāpanna; some say he is a great bodhisattva; some say he is an ordinary being. The statements are not uniform.' 'Et cetera' means it also includes those below him; their number was not one, and hence it says 'together with an immeasurable assembly of devas'.
