1.17

問：「若同處不異者，何故《入大乘論》云：諸佛色身於欲界成道，法性生身者住淨居天。其處即異。菩薩生者應生淨居，眾生生者應生欲界，云何同處？」

Question: 'If they are in the same place without difference, why does the Mahāyānāvatāra-śāstra say: "The physical bodies of all Buddhas attain enlightenment in the desire realm, while their bodies born of the dharma-nature dwell in the Śuddhāvāsa heavens"? The places are different. When bodhisattvas are reborn, they should be born in the Śuddhāvāsa, and when ordinary beings are reborn, they should be born in the desire realm. How could they be in the same place?'
