經曰：「舍利弗！如我今者稱讚諸佛不可思議功德，彼諸佛等亦稱說我不可思議功德」，次釋第一彼讚揚也。我讚六方諸佛能為眾生作真實證，眾生因此心得無疑。又彌陀如來大慈悲攝引，我偏讚彼，彼佛復讚此。

The sūtra says: 'Śāriputra, just as I now praise the inconceivable merits of the buddhas, those buddhas likewise recount my inconceivable merits...' Next, this is the first part of the commentary, their praise. I praise the buddhas of the six directions for being able to act as true witnesses for sentient beings, so that through this, sentient beings' minds become free of doubt. Furthermore, the Tathāgata Amitābha embraces and guides with great compassion; I specifically praise him, and those buddhas again praise this [Buddha].
