答：「准淨居天身身量皆大，如來報身皆在淨居色究竟天實報淨土，故報身大也。若在閻浮提，示有種姓父母生處及有得道菩提樹，如《無量壽經》說：其樹高四百萬里。《鼓音經》說：其所住城縱廣十千由旬。又《觀音授記經》云：彌陀滅後觀音補處。據上因緣，此身即小又去來生滅，故知是化。」

Answer: 'By analogy with the bodies in the Śuddhāvāsa heavens, which are all immense in size, the Tathāgata's reward body is in the real reward pure land of Akaniṣṭha in Śuddhāvāsa; hence the reward body is vast. If he is in Jambudvīpa, he manifests having a caste, parents, a birthplace, and an enlightenment tree where he attained the Way, as the Sukhāvatīvyūha Sūtra says: "The tree is four million li high," and the Drum-Sound Sūtra says: "The city where he dwells is ten thousand yojanas across." Furthermore, the Avalokiteśvara-vyākaraṇa Sūtra says: "After Amitābha's parinirvāṇa, Avalokiteśvara will be the successor." According to the above circumstances, this body is small and subject to coming, going, arising, and ceasing; hence we know it is a transformation [body].'
