第四翻譯時人者，此經前後有其四譯：一、秦弘始四年二月八日羅什譯，名「小無量壽經」；二、宋元嘉年中求那跋陀羅譯，四紙；三、永徽六年大唐三藏於慈恩寺譯，名「稱讚淨土佛攝受經」，十紙；四、後秦又譯出《阿彌陀經偈頌》一紙，而失譯主。今此所解者即是秦羅什法師所譯。

Fourth, regarding the translators and their times: This sūtra has had four translations across time: first, translated on the eighth day of the second month in the fourth year of the Hongshi era of the Qin by Kumārajīva, entitled 'Lesser Amitāyus Sūtra'; second, translated during the Yuanjia era of the Song by Guṇabhadra, in four sheets; third, translated in the sixth year of the Yonghui era by the Tripiṭaka Master of the Great Tang at Ci'en Monastery, entitled 'Sūtra on the Praise of the Pure Land and the Buddha's Protection', in ten sheets; fourth, also translated under the Later Qin, the 'Verses of the Amitābha Sūtra' in one sheet, whose translator is lost. What is now explained here is the translation by Dharma Master Kumārajīva of the Qin.
