答：「只如鶖子辨過小聖、智頴常倫，靈山為發請之先、舍衛作聞經之首，最初標列於理何違。」

Answer: "Simply because the son of the śāri's eloquence surpasses the lesser sages and his wisdom outshines ordinary ranks; on Vulture Peak he was the foremost to initiate requests, and at Śrāvastī he was the head among those hearing the sūtra. What contradiction with principle is there in listing him first at the very beginning?"
