贊曰：自下第二舉極樂之因殊。文分五段：一、遮少善；二、說多因；三、聖眾來迎；四、眾生生往；五、結勸往生。此即初也，不可以微少善根得往殊常淨土。

The commentary states: From here on, the second [main part] presents the extraordinary causes for Sukhāvatī. The text is divided into five sections: 1. precluding few goods; 2. explaining many causes; 3. the holy assembly coming to welcome; 4. the sentient beings being born; 5. concluding with an exhortation to rebirth. This is the first: one cannot go to the extraordinary Pure Land with slight roots of goodness.
