答：「化身為佛未是希奇，乃現靈禽，令生罕遇，發難遭之勝想、生殊特之信心，化現多途何足為難？況隨類化身處處皆說，瓊林寶網皆演法音，流水清風盡談真教，有斯所以乃現靈禽也！」

Answer: 'To manifest a body as a Buddha is not yet extraordinary, but manifesting marvelous birds causes one to feel they are rare to encounter, bringing forth the supreme thought of their being difficult to meet, and generating extraordinary faith. Manifesting in many ways, what difficulty could there be? Moreover, manifesting bodies in accordance with each category of being is spoken of everywhere; the jeweled forests and jeweled nets all proclaim the sounds of the Dharma, and the flowing streams and clear breezes all discourse on the true teaching. For this reason, he manifests marvelous birds!'
