The Praise says: The sixth [feature is that] the people travel to various lands. The text is divided into three parts: first, taking flowers to make offerings to buddhas; second, returning to their own land to practice walking meditation; third, concluding the accomplishment of Sukhāvatī. This is the first, and the sūtra text is easily understood. 'Each fill their robes' refers to the lapels or hems of their robes. 'Fill with many wondrous flowers' is easy to understand. As for 'offerings', to present material goods and practice [respect] is called 'making offerings' (gōng); to sustain someone is called 'support' (yǎng); hence it is called 'making offerings' (gōngyǎng). 'Other regions' refers to the one hundred billion buddhas, indicating the number of buddhas to whom offerings are made. According to various sūtras, they mount palaces made of the seven jewels or white jeweled lotus flowers, and relying on the Buddha's spiritual power they soar into empty space, going to those worlds of the ten directions. Taking various wondrous flowers and various rare items, they make offerings as they wish, hear the wondrous Dharma, receive predictions [of buddhahood], and so forth.
