Third, the dissemination section: the main discourse having concluded, the assembly joyfully upheld it, propagating it far and wide throughout the four seas and transmitting it for ten thousand generations; therefore, the dispersal of the assembly is taken as the dissemination. 'All the worlds' encompasses the fourfold assembly in general, and singles out the three destinies specifically, so as to confirm the prologue text. Asura translates here as 'non-god'; they enjoy pleasure like gods, yet harbor deceit like ghosts, being named according to their conduct. In 'rejoicing,' there is a gate of liberation; in 'faithfully accepting,' one bears it in mind and practices it. Having obtained the Dharma, their hearts were gladdened; looking up in gratitude and bearing virtue, they fully extended their sincerity and reverence, pledging their vows to disseminate it.
