阿耨多羅此云無上，三藐三菩提此云正等正覺，即大乘果覺也。此大乘經獨詮簡易直捷圓頓心要，又諸佛名字竝詮無上圓滿究竟萬德，故聞經受持及聞諸佛名者，皆為諸佛所護念，皆得不退大菩提也。

'Anuttara' here means 'unsurpassed'; 'samyaksaṃbodhi' here means 'correct, equal, and proper enlightenment,' which is the fruition enlightenment of the Mahāyāna. This Mahāyāna sūtra exclusively explains the simple, direct, perfect, and sudden essential mind, and the names of the buddhas also all express the unsurpassed, complete, and ultimate myriad virtues. Therefore, those who hear the sūtra and uphold it, or hear the names of the buddhas, are all protected and remembered by all buddhas, and all attain non-retrogression in great bodhi.
