答：「此非善問，假使極樂在東。汝又須問，何故在東？豈非戲論？況自娑婆視之則極樂在西，倘自十一萬億佛土視之則極樂又在東矣，何足致疑。」

Answer: 'This is not a sound question. Suppose Sukhāvatī were in the east: you would then ask again, why is it in the east? Would that not be idle speculation? Furthermore, viewed from the Sahā world, Sukhāvatī is in the west; but if viewed from a hundred and ten thousand koṭis of Buddha lands [further west], Sukhāvatī is in the east. What ground is there for doubt?'
