"Moreover, Śāriputra, in that land there are constantly various kinds of wondrous birds of multicolored plumage—white cranes, peacocks, parrots, śārikas, kalaviṅkas, and birds of shared life. Throughout the six periods of the day and night, these various birds produce harmonious and elegant sounds. Their sounds proclaim and expound such dharmas as the five faculties, the five powers, the seven factors of bodhi, and the eightfold noble path. When the sentient beings of that land hear these sounds, they all practice buddhānusmṛti, dharmānusmṛti, and saṅghānusmṛti."
