Sengliang comments: 'Body' has the meaning of arising, ceasing, and accumulation, yet there are the true [body] and the responsive [body]. The true body is free from arising, ceasing, and accumulation, hence it is 'not a body'; the responsive body does not fail to be born wherever birth occurs, and does not fail to take form wherever form appears, hence it 'is a body'. Sengzong says: It is not a body burdened by physical form; this refers to the dharmakāya.
