案僧亮曰：將欲依名以辨德也。法瑤曰：迦葉奉被囑累，未識經名受持方法，此是說經竟致問之常宜也。明駿案：前偈中語漫，今別標二問也。乃應舉四，蓋其一隅耳。二問者，問流通、問經名也。

Sengliang notes: Intending to delineate the virtues based on the name. Fayao notes: Kāśyapa having respectfully received the entrustment, yet not knowing the name of the sūtra or the method of accepting and upholding it, this is the customary propriety of posing questions when the expounding of a sūtra is finished. Mingjun notes: The words in the previous verse were broad, and now he distinctly marks two questions. He ought to have raised four, but merely indicated one corner. The two questions are asking about propagation and asking about the name of the sūtra.
