10.83

案僧亮曰：了因非作故，因非脩集也。絕思議故，非稱量也。僧宗曰：無所進故，非脩集也。無相待故，非稱量也。

Sengliang states: Because the revealing cause is not produced, the cause is not cultivated and accumulated. Because it transcends conceptual thought, it is neither weighed nor measured. Sengzong states: Because it has nowhere to advance, it is not cultivated and accumulated. Because it lacks reciprocal relativity, it is neither weighed nor measured.
