11.11

案僧亮曰：為女人說法，以證正他之旨也。僧宗曰：世尊如是者，此佛語也。寶亮曰：亦可是女人語也。何必不宿植根深，一聞便悟耶？智秀曰：審是女人語也。世尊後即引以為例，云我之弟子亦如是也。

Sengliang states: He expounds the Dharma for the woman to verify the purport of rectifying others. Sengzong states: "World-Honoured One! It is thus" are the words of the Buddha. Baoliang states: It could also be the words of the woman. Why could it not be that she had planted deep roots in the past and awakened immediately upon hearing it? Zhixiu states: It is truly the words of the woman. Immediately afterward, the World-Honoured One cites it as an example, saying, "My disciples are also like this."
