13.22

案僧亮曰：證上半字也。僧宗曰：領解自申所懷也。但昔言未洗，人疑不除，今廣引昔偈，令釋所以施權之旨也。

Sengliang notes: He verifies the half-letters mentioned above. Sengzong says: He receives the understanding and presents what he holds in mind. However, because the past words have not yet been washed away, people's doubts have not been removed; now he extensively cites the past verses to explain the reason for deploying the provisional teachings.
