案寶亮曰：此是思慧，下品者也。此人假名法空將立未立，故悉屬弟子數也。云未解深義者，未識人根也。前聞慧三人，並是念處人也。

Baoliang comments: This is the wisdom of thinking, lower grade. For this person, the emptiness of provisional designations and phenomena is on the verge of being established but not yet established, so they still entirely belong to the rank of disciples. Saying that 'they do not yet understand the profound meaning' means they do not yet recognize people's faculties. The previous three persons of the wisdom of hearing are all persons of the foundations of mindfulness.
