案僧亮曰：明生善也。所以言墮十住數者，十住亦不退，此人亦不退故也。下云「一經於耳，生生不失正見。」寶亮曰：第六為向得者為喻也，以必墮十地數故也。

Sengliang comments: This explains the arising of the good. The reason it says 'falling into the reckoning of the ten abodes' is that the ten abodes are also non-retrogressive, and this person is also non-retrogressive. Below it says, 'Once it passes through the ear, life after life one does not lose right view.' Baoliang says: The sixth layer provides an analogy for those who previously attained it, because they are certain to fall into the reckoning of the ten bhūmis.
