案僧宗曰：四依菩薩乃廣寫大乘經典，流通彼處，一時從化，譬舉國共食也。寶亮曰：四依菩薩赴彼所感，以譬愍之也。躬自弘通，喻如車載也。

Sengzong comments: The bodhisattvas of the four refuges then copy the Great Vehicle classics widely and circulate them in that place, so that all at once they follow the transformation, which is compared to the whole country eating together. Baoliang says: The bodhisattvas of the four refuges respond to what they evoke, which is compared to pitying him. Personally propagating it is compared to carting it over.
